Positive: I had trouble finding a place which was big enough to accommodate our large party of three families with 20 people, a baby and a toddler. Roy was very accommodating and even though the villa is listed as sleeping 18, it also has two extra beds, a crib and a cot and two child seats. The upstairs kitchen/dining room was very well equipped, super clean and allowed us all to eat together with a magnificent view over the lake. We even saw the Northern Lights!!!!! The villa was very good value for money for our large party and we would definitely come back here again. The beds were comfortable and the house is very large. It suited us perfectly as it is split into three flats and we were able to separate when we wanted to have private time as separate families and come together as a large party to eat. There is a bathing place with as sandy beach and mowed grassthrough a sweet little path in the forest which is only a few minutes walk (turn left at the treehouse through a short path through the forest.) This was perfect for the children to swim and play as there is a sandy beach, a mowed lawn and the water is very shallow for quite a long way out. There is also the possibility to swim directly from the deck at the end of the garden, where the rowing boat and kayaks are.
Negative: There is nothing negative to say. The upstairs apartment is top notch trendy. The lower one is very large and maybe the kitchen area could be updated but I thought it was beautifully authentic. All bedding is clean and supplied, as are all other facilities. FYI, the owners rely on guests to strip the beds and clean after their stay. This was such a reasonably priced holiday that we were happy to do this. We will be back!
